Obituary

Richard "Dick" Hock, age 85 of Isaar passed away on Sunday, May 14th, 2023 after a brief battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was born on November 6th, 1937 to the late Henry and Marie Hock.

As a child he grew up on the family farm building a passion and love for farming. He graduated from West De Pere High School in 1955. Shortly after he then joined the Navy.

Dick was united in marriage to the love of his life, Germaine Kropp on May 30th, 1960 having celebrated 62 years together. They built a family and life on their farm in Isaar having farmed together for 55 years until they retired.

After retirement if you didn't find him helping out on the farm, you could find him at the cabin. He enjoyed time out on the lake fishing with Germaine and the dogs. He especially enjoyed time in the tractor working in the fields. He spent many hours fixing up his antique tractors with his brother, Carl. He had a special love for his pony, Pally. Dick also enjoyed many nights watching the Green Bay Gamblers with friends. Anyone who knew Dick knew he always had a good story up his sleeve.

He was involved with the Oneida fire department for 29 Years. Above and beyond all of the things, Dick enjoyed time with his family the most.

He is survived by his wife, Germaine; two dogs: Rocky and Sparky; daughters: Beverly (Randy) Olson, Barb (Al Leidel) Hock, and Donna (Jerry) Maass; son, Terry (Gina) Hock; grandchildren: April (Abner) Flores, Kendall (Teddy) Kasper, Katie (Matt) Bohm, Eric (Nikki) Olson, Adam (Sara) Henn, Alise (Bruce Martin) Henn , Ashley (Joel) Walters, Cody (Sam) Maass, Junior (Mariah Rozmiarek) Bedolla, and Whitney Hock; 16 great-grandchildren.
Further survived by a sister, Betty (Butch) Blohm; brother, Carl; brother-in-law, Donald (Cindy) Kropp and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ken (Barb) Hock; sister-in-law, Carol Hock; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lloyd and Verona (Schmit) Kropp; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Dori Kropp; niece, Mary Kropp; great-grandson, Fletcher Henn; great-granddaughters: Adaleena Maass and Hadley Maass.

Visitation for Dick will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, from 4:00 pm until a parish prayer service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar, from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
