Obituary
Randy J. Sahotsky, 66, Black Creek, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 21, 2023. He was born February 28, 1957, to the late Donald J. and Phyllis F. (Rymer) Sahotsky. Randy was united in marriage to Cindy Olson, and the couple started their lives in Black Creek.
He worked for VF Corporation (Jansport) for 44 years until his retirement in 2022. Randy was known for his quick wit and dry sense of humor until his death. He delivered "zingers" right to the end.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Sahotsky; his faithful companions, Meg and Laddy; his sister, Donna (Guy) Young; mother-in-law, Penny Paris-Tyczkowski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Chris Nwabeke, Constance Willes, Dave Olson, Jeff (Jill) Tyczkowski; Mark Tyczkowski, and Jon (Lynn) Tyczkowski; nieces, nephews, and all of his friends from Jansport.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his fathers-in-law, Dave Olson Sr. and Al Tyczkowski; one brother, Al Jahnke; and one sister, Sandy Nwabeke; and one brother-in-law, Steve Willes.
In accordance with Randy's wishes, no funeral service will take place. In lieu of flowers, please perform an act of kindness or make a charitable donation in Randy's memory.
The family extends a special thanks to the staff of Moments Hospice for their compassionate care, especially Nurse Ellen, and Randy's aide, Rick. A heartfelt thanks to the family members and friends for their help to allow Randy to pass away at home where he was the most comfortable.
