Obituary

Kristine Ann Schroeder, 52, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. She was born on October 7, 1969, to Glenn and Dorothy (Murphy) Schroeder. Kristine was a graduate of Appleton East High School.

In her younger years, she enjoyed swinging on her swing that her father made for her, and she liked working on puzzles. Kristine especially cherished visiting with her neighbors. She wanted to know everybody's name and where they lived. Kristine was previously employed by Aspiro and Valley Packaging.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Schroeder; siblings: Jeffrey (Katie) Schroeder, Ronald (fiancee, Lindsey Eickhoff) Schroeder, Richard (fiancee, Lisa Janssen) Schroeder, and Mary Jo (Michael) Grawitch; nieces and nephews: Christopher (Michelle) Grawitch, Lindsey (Travis) Reetz, Kimberly (Alex) Bowman, Allie and Sarah Schroeder; aunts and uncles: Phyllis Schroeder, Thomas (Debbie) Murphy, and Ronald Greiner; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Schroeder; uncle, Robert Schroeder; aunts: Elaine (Donald) Gresl, Betty (Jim) Gresl, Rita (Pete) Petersen, Irene (Robert) Van Hoof, and LaVonne Greiner; maternal grandparents, Ignatius and Anna (Jansen) Murphy; and paternal grandparents: Alvin and Minnie (Schwalbach) Schroeder.

In following Kristine's wishes, no services will be held. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family. Burial will take place at the Community Lutheran Cemetery in Freedom.

The family extends a special thanks to the wonderful caregivers throughout the years for their compassionate care, and especially to those who provided extra special attention.
