When we moved to Seymour in 1998 and I started working at Good Shepherd Services, Janet immediately welcomed me.  She would often stop by my office to say hello and we'd chat a bit.  I would also see her in the community and observed she was like that with everyone.  It meant so much to me that Janet was always so kind.  Knowing her and witnessing her example made me a better person.  Although I haven't seen her in a few years I still remember her warm smile and kindness.  Rest in peace friend.  My sympathy to your family.
