James Micheal Green

James Michael Green, 79, Oneida, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born October 21, 1943, to the late Robert Benjamin and Elvira (Skenandore) Green. Jim worked as a roofer for over 25 years until his retirement. Following retirement he worked for the Oneida Nation. In his spare time he loved hunting and fishing. Jim was a member of the Oneida Sportsman Club.

Survivors include two children: Laura Carr, Glendale, AZ; and Thomas Green, De Pere; three grandchildren: Thomas Jr. (Amber) Green, Westminster, CO; Lauren (Parker) Carr, Laguna Niguel, CA; and Marissa Carr, Glendale, AZ; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Thomas Green; and his canine companion, Tyson.

Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., Deacon Bobby Doxtator officiating. Burial will take place at the Oneida Nation Sacred Burial Grounds in Oneida.
