On December 6, 2021, our beloved father Dean C. Tubby, Sr., age 86, passed away with his family by his side. Most recently Dean was a resident of Seymour. He was born November 22, 1935, to the late Dan Tubby and Lula Chitto-Tubby. Dean was born and raised in Carthage, Mississippi, and was a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. At the age of 14 he moved to Chicago, Illinois. He met and married the mother of his children, Yvonne E. Jourdan, and they spent 14 years in Chicago until they made Wisconsin their permanent home. Dean was known for his sports activities throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Mississippi. He was an avid baseball player for over 10 years playing for the White Sox's minor league in Chicago, and he also played with the Oneida Wisconsin baseball team as well as teams in Seymour. He enjoyed coaching the Nichols Nitros dairyland baseball team. Dean was very well known for his bowling achievements while in Green Bay with numerous 300 games and his perfect series of 900. He finished up his sports activities with golfing throughout Wisconsin and traveled with some of his teammates across the country to golf in tournaments. He also frequented the Dancing Rabbit golf course on his homeland of Philadelphia, Mississippi.
