Obituary

Clifford William Conradt, 95, Shiocton, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. He was born on the family farm on April 10, 1927, to the late William and Merina (Klika) Conradt. Cliff was a 1945 graduate of Shiocton High School. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Spietz on September 22, 1951, at St. John Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. Cliff's faith was extremely important to him. He and Lorraine were charter members of Messiah Lutheran Church in Shiocton.

Cliff owned and operated Conradt Farms, which was founded by his father, William Conradt, in 1919, after he served in World War I. Clifford and William milked approximately 55 Holstein cows, raised pigs and chickens and fed out beef cattle. Cliff and Lorraine took over the farm in 1960. Cliff was awarded the Jaycees State Farm award in 1961. Cliff's son, Randall, joined in partnership in 1988 and the name of the farm was changed to Conradt Farms Partnership. They sold the 200 cow dairy farm in 2008 and just raised corn, soybeans, and wheat.

Cliff enjoyed traveling with a group of fellow farmers known as "Farmers on the bum." He also liked bowling. Cliff was a member of the Outagamie County Fair Association, and he also belonged to the Shiocton School Board and Shiocton Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Conradt; four children: Pamela (Tom) Streur, Vicki (Dave) Binge, Randy Conradt, and Nancy (Jim) Winsted; grandchildren: Eric Streur, Megan (Kristian) Ulness, Jason (Becca) Streur, Alaina Binge (Connor McKay), Kyle McNatt (Michaela Davenport), Ryan McNatt (Taylor Wilkinson), Sarah Binge (Caleb Olson), Brad Winsted, Jamie Winsted; great-grandchildren: Lena and Elin Ulness, Hayden, Callen, Clara, and Austen Streur, Noah Binge, and Mylo McNatt; one brother, William (Betty) Conradt, Jr; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Sadie (Zuelke) Spietz; twin sisters, Jean (William) Arneson and Joyce (Richard) Schnal; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gerhardt (Rogene) Spietz, and Caroline (Ronald) Schisel.
