According to Carol, "The greatest blessings in my life were my husband Tom, my high school sweetheart, who I married in 1958, and my four wonderful children and their families who I cherished with all my heart. Tom was my dancing partner and the love of my life. My children brought me so much happiness, as did my grandchildren. May they all remember how much I loved them."
Carol was very involved in any activities that her children were engaged in. Whether leading Girl Scouts, coaching girls' softball, or cheering on the boys' hockey teams, spending time with her family was always her greatest enjoyment.
