William Klein

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of William August Klein, 61, of Appleton, Wisconsin on July 22, 2025. He was surrounded by his beloved wife Char, his family and his poker friends. God blessed his final moments with a special prayer from his friend, Rev. Adam Demetrician. "Big Bill" or "Billy" was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 25, 1964 to his parents Mr. William (Buzzy) and Mrs. Kathryn (Kay) Klein. Bill will be deeply missed by the love of his life, wife Charleen Ann Heinke of Appleton, Wisconsin. Also, his sister JoAnn Klein, cousins: Jenny Klein-Humanski and family, MaryKay Normeyer and family and Tony Klein and family. All of his sisters and brothers in-law: Anthony and Brenda Montecalvo, Jon and Melody Heinke, Jim and Cari Heinke. He will be sadly missed by all of his nieces and nephews: Andrew Montecalvo, Clarice Montecalvo, Francesco and Natalie Maiorca, Madilyn Heinke, McKendra Heinke, Mercede Heinke, Nolan Heinke, Noah Heinke, Nixon Heinke, Maraya Heinke, Brady Heinke, Owen Heinke, Isabella Heinke, Adam and Amber Vanden Huevel, Scotty and Melissa Barribeau, Scott and Courtney Boncher, all of his extended family and all of his hundreds of close friends.

Cigars, Crown Royal and a Chicago Bear's game will be used to celebrate his life. Since Bill had many friends in Chicago, Appleton and Eagle River we will honor him with three celebrations of life.

Bill loved his Mastiffs (Henry, Jack, Jill, Maya, Fred & Lucy). In lieu of flowers, we will be making a donation to an animal rescue organization in Bill's honor.
