Virginia (Ginger) Schultz, age 65 passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born October 19, 1943 to the late Paul and Edna (Geyer) Hansen in Minneapolis, MN. On February 10, 1968 she married Chester C. Schultz, together they lived in north Minneapolis until his in death June 1985.

Ginger lived most of her life in Minneapolis but spent a few years traveling in the southern states before settling in Seymour, Wisconsin to be near her family. Ginger worked for a short time at the Doll Museum in Appleton until her stroke in 2000.

Ginger is survived by her children, Denise (Joel Galler) Iverson, Seymour; Paul (Kathi) Schultz, Littleton, CO; her four greatest treasures and joys, her grandchildren: Ashley and Andrew Iverson, Joshua and Jillian Schultz. She is further survived by her two brothers: Tom (Martie) Hansen, Stacy, MN; Larry (Sandy) Hansen, Brooklyn Center, MN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Edna Hansen; husband, Chester Schultz, older brother Vernon Hansen and one nephew Ken Hansen.

Private family services were held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home Burial at Fort Snelling Minneapolis, Minnesota. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com .

Ginger's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home for their many years of excellent care given to our mother and grandmother. You were her family and friends as well as her caregivers and she loved you all and appreciated all that you did for her over the years! Thank you so very much for all of your love and support.
