Violet Bishop

June 26, 1927 — January 6, 2018

Violet M. Bishop, 90, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 surrounded by family. She was born on June 26,1927,daughter to the late John and Tillie (Treml) Linsmeyer.

On April 26,1958 she was married to Donald Carl Bishop at St. Sebastian church, which she was also a life long member.

Violet had many different jobs and loved them all. She also had many friends and was friendly to all she met.

Violet is survived by her children: John (Anita) Bishop and their children Bradley, Derek, Mikael, and Kaiti; Rena (Kyle) Willams and children Chris (Jennifer) Rottier, Brandon, Desiree, and Travis; Judy Bishop; Ann Bishop and her children Nina (Chas) Skalmusky, Brian (Cassandra) Diedrick; Carol (William) Roche and their children Liam, Gaven, Kilen, and Kaden. She is also survived by a sister, June Linsmeyer; and sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Linsmeyer, Jean Wilcox, and Dorothy Bishop; a Godson, Keneth Linsmeyer, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bishop; brother, Gerald Linsmeyer; brother-in-law, Robert Bishop; in-laws: Lawerence and Mary Bishop, Richard and Eunice Bishop, and Patrick Wilcox.

Friends may call at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a parish prayer service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Bob Kabat and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Interment will take place at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
