Vicki Jarvey

October 22, 1951 — December 13, 2022

Vicki (Irish) Jarvey, 71, passed away peacefully at home on the evening of Tuesday, December 13, 2022. She was born on October 22, 1951, in Green Bay to the late Victor and Ardys (Karrow) Irish.

Doctors and nurses who tended to Vicki called her "one tough cookie" as she battled cancer in 2018 and in 2019 took her bucket list trip to Mount Rushmore with family. One nurse recently mentioned that she would be "one" that fights her to the end and that she did until she could no more.

Vicki loved her family more than life! She was once asked, "what is your greatest accomplishment?" in which she replied, "my children." She loved nothing more than being around her children, grandchildren, nieces, and great niece and nephews. The biggest highlight of her week though was "Saturday Shenanigans" where along with her sister and brothers solved world problems over donuts right up until this past Saturday. Vicki will be remembered for her generosity, kindness, determination, stubbornness, and sense of humor often making jokes in stressful times, and said "If I don't laugh, I'll cry". Humor could be found in any situation!

Vicki is survived by her children: Lisa (Derek) Gilsoul and David (Theresa) Jarvey; grandchildren: Cassidy, James, and Julia; brothers: Brent (Virginia) Irish and Kelly (Laurie) Irish; sister, Loraine (Craig) Klopotic; nieces: Lindsay Klopotic Eaton and Christine (Nick) Wilz; great niece and nephews: Declan, Max, and Maya; her dog, Tucker; special friend, Patti Exferd, and many other caring relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main Street, Seymour, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. The service will be live streamed on the Emmanuel Lutheran, Seymour's Facebook page.
