Trent Michael Jaskolski, 23, formerly of Black Creek, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. He was born July 8, 1999, to Todd and Sheryl (Glaze) Jaskolski. Trent was a 2017 graduate of Seymour High School. He enjoyed politics; in his junior year of high school Trent was selected to represent his class by attending "Badger Boys State" to learn the fundaments of civics. He continued his education at UW-Green Bay, and began working at Chipotle while attending college.
Trent was diagnosed with IGA nephropathy, a condition which affected his kidneys. On August 14, 2019, Trent was given a kidney by his best friend since kindergarten, Austin Marcks. In 2020, Trent relocated to Madison, where Austin was living, and they became roommates. Trent and Austin both worked at Chipotle in Madison, and Trent was currently employed as the General Manager. He had been a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mackville.
He had a passion for traveling with family and friends. Trent traveled to many different states as well as Germany, Italy, Greece, Ireland, and Canada. He enjoyed watching football and basketball. Trent was a proud Indianapolis Colts fan and his room contained a lot of Colts memorabilia. He was a major Peyton Manning fan as well. Trent had a quick wit and was very sassy, and will always be remembered for his great sense of humor.
Survivors include his parents, Todd (Sheryl) Jaskolski, Black Creek; maternal grandfather, Jerry (Nina) Glaze, five siblings: Sasha (Jared) Verseman, Severance, CO; Alissa Jaskolski (significant other, Adam Vander Heiden), Seymour; Noell Vanden Heuvel, Appleton; Brittany (Manny) Martinez, Menasha; Stephanie Jaskolski (fiance, Brandon Mazyck), Charleston, SC; his best friend who was like his brother, Austin Marcks, Madison; five nephews; three nieces and another on the way; numerous aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends; and his favorite dog, Daisy.
Trent was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Gerald (LaVon) Jaskolski; his maternal grandmother, Marlene Glaze; and one aunt, Debra Jaskolski.
Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Mark Gartner officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Muehl-Boettcher Facebook page.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
