Timmon Doxtator

December 15, 1952 — April 2, 2024

Timmon J. Doxtator 71, affectionately known as Bom, was born through a snow storm on December 15, 1952 in Chicago, Ill. He started his spiritual journey across the Milky Way through a snow storm on April 2, 2024. Surrounded by his loving family his sisters Fisha (Pat) & Dolly (Brenda) held him and sang to him as he gently drifted away.

Bom suffered a traumatic brain injury when he was 5 years old. Doctors told our family he wouldnt live past 10 years of age. He lived and was loved to a very full life of happiness, love, care & compassion which brought him to the tender age of 71 years young. He was always a big kid at heart who loved to play pranks, loved Sponge Bob and cartoons, game shows, listening to, singing to & dancing to all genres of music, especially old country, Johnny Cash, Elvis, R& B and more. He loved going to powwows and singing to the drum. He was known for wearing his cartoon shirts with matching socks. He loved all the babies and eating was an all time favorite.

Bom was our special gift from Creator who entrusted his care into our arms and in essence it was Bom that would take care of us. Nurturing our hearts with unwavering trust & love, guiding our hands to carefully and respectfully take care of him, giving us words to speak as we became his advocates and caretakers. He taught us what life truly meant for those less fortunate than ourselves and he did it gracefully. He was loved with abundance as was proof in the longevity of many years of life Creator had blessed him with.

Bom was preceeded in death by his parents, Cecilia & Michele' Roberto (the loving man who raised us); biological father, Timmon Doxtator; brothers: Vernon Doxtator and Nathaniel (Lummux) Doxtator; sisters: Roxanne "Roxy" Doxtator and Florence ( Koo-C-Koo) Klakowicz; many aunts and uncles; niece, Juanita Martinez; and nephew, Yoshi Torres.

He is survived by sisters: Cecilia (Felix) Martinez, Brenda (Everett) Black Thunder, and Patricia (Frank) Gutierrez; brother, David (Michelle) Roberto; special nieces: Theresa, Chanel, Gina and Janee'; and many other nieces and nephews who helped with his care throughout the years.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Oneida Community Center staff, Carrie Lindsey CHS Long Term Care Case Program Mgr., Rachel Lemke Tribal Options Social Worker, Julia Jones Community Health Case Mgr.
