Thomas G. Witthuhn, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, with his loving family at his side. He was born on February 13, 1940, to Joyce (Armitage) and Raymond Witthuhn, who welcomed him into a life rooted in family, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Faye (Meyer) Witthuhn; they shared 42 memorable years of marriage before her passing. He was also preceded by his parents, his brother, Daniel, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Ruth and Orval Meyer.
Tom is lovingly remembered by his children: Todd (Lori), Kim, and Tara (Jeffery). He was a proud grandfather to four granddaughters - Kassandra (Jordan), Gabrielle (Jordan), Samantha, and Darrith and a delighted great‑grandfather to Casper and Carsyn, who brought him endless joy.
He is further survived by his siblings: Steve (Janet), Barry (Barb), Bonnie (Jim), and Christine (Curt) and Sister-in-law Joanne.
Tom worked for Boldt Company for many years. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors. An avid fisherman, hunter, and trapper. Tom took pleasure in the activities that filled his days and brought him satisfaction. These interests created countless memories shared with family and friends.
Those who knew Tom will remember his quiet strength, humor and the way he lived a simple, honest life. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Visitation for Tom will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Matthew Schoell and Pastor Mark Gartner officiating. Private family burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
