Thomas Wagner

August 10, 1949 — September 24, 2018

Thomas Wagner, 69, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend passed into the cornfields in the clouds during morning milking time on September 24, 2018, to celebrate his mom’s birthday with her. He entered this world on August 10, 1949, born to Raymond and Gladys Wagner, Black Creek, Wisconsin.

Tom graduated from Seymour Community High School, served in the Army from 1969 - 1972 and was a proud Vietnam vet. He believed in serving his community and was on the Cicero Town Board for over 35 years. Tom was a farmer, volunteer fire fighter, deer hunter, fisherman, cribbage player, four-wheeler driver and Packer fan. Tom and Bonnie (Bloedorn) were married on December 29, 2003 and danced to "I Will Always Love You," one of Tom's favorite songs.

He loved being outside in the fresh air and took great pride in taking care of his crops, gardens, apple trees and pond, which he stocked with bluegills so he could catch and throw them back all year long. Without a doubt, Tom put on the best corn roast in town. Tom will be remembered as a quiet listener with sparkly blue eyes and long eyelashes, always interested in what his grandchildren, nephews and nieces had to say and share.

Tom is survived by his wife Bonnie; daughters: Tracy (Kris Berg) and Laura (Nick Marcelle); brothers and sisters: Dennis (Darlene), Betty (Don Sedo), Mike, Chris (Dennis Neuman), Carol (Mike Bluma), Steve (Nancy) and Bob (Jennifer); and brother-in-law, Jim Weyers. Tom's laughter and attention will be greatly missed by his three grandchildren: Jaxson (10), Zoey (6) and Grant (5), along with all his nieces, nephews and extended family.

Also survived by Bonnie’s family; brothers-in-law: Bob Bloedorn, Rick (Wendy) Bloedorn, Terry (Marcia) Bloedorn, Gary (Beth) Bloedorn, Dan (Wendy) Bloedorn; sisters-in-law: Joan (Tony) Sweeney, Mary (Tim) Collar, Julie Bloedorn and Vicky Bloedorn.

Tom's loving, kind and hard-working spirit has reunited with his parents; sister, Mary Weyers; brother-in-law, Lee Griesbach; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Willis and Silva Bloedorn; and brothers-in-law, Todd and William (Jean) Bloedorn.

Tom's family asks that you plant some seeds, a tree or spring bulbs in his memory. Look for the monarchs, they are special messengers for his family.
