Terry "Nootzy" Lane Welch, 58, Cloverleaf Lakes, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 20, 2022. He was born May 23, 1964, in Michigan, to the late Kenneth A. "Roots" Moes and Ida "Billie" Welch. Terry belonged to Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in his youth, and he attended Seymour High School.
Terry began his career with Moes Trucking, and he later worked for Bonduel Sand & Gravel. Terry worked for The Boldt Company for several years, and he ended his career at Waste Control Services until his health forced him into early retirement.
Terry was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr, and he had a room dedicated to #3. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he immensely enjoyed spending some years out west hunting. He also loved playing pool.
Survivors include two children: Tim (Jessica) Welch and Morgan (Joshua) Flease; four grandchildren: Khane Welch, Cohen and Willow Knapp, and Judah Flease; two step-grandchildren: Kaeden Neiderberger, and Bella Flease; siblings: Jackee (John) Reis, William "Tony" Moes, Penny Fay, and Tracy (Duane) Campbell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will take place on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Pastor Moira Finley officiating. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Lessor.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
The family extends a special thanks to Kristy Crum from ThedaCare At Home Hospice, and Terry's brother, Tony, for all of their care and concern.
