Terry Louis Hillman

Oct 26, 1965 — Jun 25, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry L. Hillman, who passed away on Thursday, June 25, in Appleton after a courageous, years-long battle with cancer. He was born on October 26, 1965, the son of the late George and Elizabeth (Kulaf) Hillman.

Known to many by his nickname, "Rude Dog," Terry lived life with strength, determination, and a spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Throughout his illness, he faced each challenge with courage and resilience, inspiring his family and friends with his perseverance.

Terry enjoyed watching the Packers, riding his Harley, and simply sitting outside soaking up the sunshine. During the colder months, he enjoyed tackling projects around the house, always finding something to repair or improve, such as fixing up a step stool for his beloved grandson.

Terry will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. His memory will live on through the stories shared, the friendships he built, and the lives he touched.

The family is grateful for the love, support, and compassion shown during Terry's battle with cancer and asks that Terry be remembered for the joy, laughter, and strength he brought to others.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Alyssa (Dominic Koehnke) Hillman; his beloved grandson, Dominic Koehnke; his sister, Tina (Troy) Goodwin; his step-son, Andrew (Ashley) Slaets; his step-daughter, Samantha (Franklin) Smith; as well as many nieces, step-grandchildren, relatives, and dear friends.

There will be a visitation for Terry at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Burial will take place at the South Cicero Cemetery.
