Sandra J Scheller

Sandra J. Scheller, 89, of Nichols passed away suddenly on Monday, August 10, 2026. She was born June 17, 1937 to the late Cedric and Margaret (Scruton) Kuhn in Oshkosh, WI.

She attended Nichols Grade School and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1955 and went on to beautician school in Green Bay.

On October 18, 1958 she was united in marriage to Willis Scheller at the United Church of Christ in Nichols. Willis preceded her in death in 1982. The couple lived in Menasha for a year before settling in Nichols. Sandra became a faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Black Creek.

In February of 1989 Sandra married Norman Peters in Florida where they remained snowbirds until Norman passed away in 2003.

Sandra was a beautician at Curly Top and continued her craft setting hair for her friends and neighbors from her home.

She was a past member of the Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Aid, Nichols Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, Birthday Club, Red Hatters, Nichols Historical Society, Nichols Advancement Association, the church dart ball team, and the Hot Shots softball team. Sandra loved playing cards and feeding her birds.

She is survived by her children: Charlotte (Darrell) Huth, Leon (Julee) Scheller, and Terry "Shakey" (Paula) Scheller; grandchildren: Chris (Stephanie) Huth, Brandon Huth, Adam (Rebecca) Huth, Sara (Kevin) Rickert, Nikki Scheller, Vic Scheller, Dana (Ryan) Kramer, Jason (Kristin) Krahn; great-grandchildren: Emily, Caleb, Micah, Esther, and Jonah Huth; Owen and Rhys Rickert; Aryah, Eirhyan, Beckett, and Kalyn Krahn. She is further survived by her siblings: Betty (Wayne) Pues, Mark Kuhn, and David (Karen) Kuhn; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Judy Kuhn; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: August (Helen) Scheller, Cliff (Joyce) Scheller, and Jerri Scheller.

Visitation for Sandra will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Black Creek on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Gartner and Pastor Matthew Schoell officiating. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Black Creek.
