Robert Tregoning

Robert "Bob" D. Tregoning, age 71, of Seymour passed away on December 2, 2020. He was born on December 8, 1948 to the late William and Helena (Paquet) Tregoning. Bob served in te US Army as a heavy truck mechanic. He was awarded the Purple Heart during his service in Vietnam. On May 22, 1987 he was united in marriage to Shirley Vandermoss in Seymour. She preceded him in death on December 24, 2015. He enjoyed his birds, his dog Lance, Coca-Cola, and stamp collecting.

Bob is survived by his step-daughter, Trudy Koon, Black Creek; three grandchildren: Blaize, Sadie, and Portia; two great-grandchildren: Carly and Tenlee; a sister and brother, sister-in-law, Betty O'Keefe, Waukesha; brother-in-law, Lee (Eileen) Vandermoss, Seymour.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Tregoning; step-son, Michael Koon; and sister-in-law, Barbara.

Visitation for Bob will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. A graveside service will take place at the Seymour City Cemetery at 10 am Saturday with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
