He was proceeded in death by his father Alois "Ollie" Leisgang.
Bobby was a farmer his whole life! After running the family farm he was employed by Al VanDeHei. He enjoyed all aspects of farming, but he especially enjoyed working every day with his nephew, Nick Leisgang. He was a dedicated church member at St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. He frequently went to the Five Bar and met up with friends. Many nights he made food to take the bar to share with those he loved. He loved getting all the markdown deals at Don's Quality Market, even when it wasn't needed. He loved spending time with his grandkids and he enjoyed the special moments with them, such as riding in the tractors to chop hay, going for semi rides, side by side rides, and car rides to various places. He was the main entertainment at a party because of his jokester personality, love for entertaining, and love of dancing. His love of life will be missed at all future parties!
In Bobby's words, "Live your life like it's your last day. I love you! Wheee!"
The family would like to give a special thank you to Andrea Gruen, Zadie Roffers, and Seymour Rescue for their quick action at the scene.
Visitation will take place at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 2:00 pm until the funeral mass at 6:00 pm with Fr. Sengole Dass and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Bobby's memory are appreciated.
