Robert Bloedorn

Robert "Bob" W. Bloedorn Sr., 74, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026. He was born February 12, 1952 son of the late Willis and Silva "Dolly" (Reitz) Bloedorn.

Bob loved his family and enjoyed every moment spent together. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. He spent many hours patiently teaching all his grandchildren how to play cribbage or simply watching NASCAR with them.

He found some of his greatest happiness outdoors, especially while hunting and gardening. Whether sitting quietly in the woods waiting for the perfect moment, or spending hours in the garden planting, tending, and watching things grow, he found peace and joy in nature. He loved the hard work, the fresh air and the simple satisfaction of seeing something flourish because of his care.

Bob is survived by six of his seven children: Brenda (Brandyn) Salaj, Seymour, WI; Robert (Rachel) Bloedorn Jr., Bonduel, WI; Bridgett (Bill) Mihalski, Krakow, WI; Barbie (Kevin) Wigen, Winter Springs, FL; Brandon Bloedorn, Bonduel, WI; Dana (Ryan) Turriff, Seymour, WI; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers: Rick (Wendy) Bloedorn, Gary (Beth) Bloedorn, Dan (Wendy) Bloedorn; sisters: Joan Sweeney, Bonnie Wagner, Mary (Tim) Collar, and Julie Bloedorn; sister-in-laws, Marcia Bloedorn and Vicky Bloedorn; an abundance of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Bryan Bloedorn; Brothers: William (Jean) Bloedorn, Terry Bloedorn, and Todd Bloedorn; brothers-in-law: Tom Wagner and Tony Sweeney.

Visitation for Bob will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 7:00 pm with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating.
