Patrick J. Krohlow, 76, of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born February 25, 1947 a son of the late Edgar and Ruth (Zuehlke) Krohlow.
Following his graduation from Seymour High School, he served in the US Army for three years as a photographer. His service in the Army lead to a career in media and marketing.
Following the army Pat began his career at WLUK Fox 11 as a Photojournalist, Assignment Editor, News Director and Marketing Director before retiring in 2010. He was known to his TV family as "Krotz."
Pat was a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He married the love of his life, Janet Ehlert, on September 5, 1970 . Together they celebrated over 52 years of marriage and had two children: Tricia and Todd. He also enjoyed his two grandchildren Austin and Skyelin who were very important and special to him and always brought a smile to his face. He spent many hours at the ball diamond and racetrack watching them do what they love.
"Life is good" was Pat's moto and good it was. He pitched a no hitter, hit a hole in one golfing, and bowled a 300. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching the Brewers and Packers along with spending time at his Cottage in Crivitz.
Pat is survived by his wife, Jan; son, Todd Krohlow, Suamico; daughter, Tricia Hendricks, DePere; granddaughter, Skyelin Krohlow; grandson, Austin Hendricks; brother, Tom Krohlow, Bonduel; sister, Mary Krohlow, Iowa. He is further survived by an aunt Gloria Krohlow, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
