Norman Schneekloth

Norman Schneekloth, age 89, passed away Wednesday morning, October 22, 2008 at Good Shepherd in Seymour. He was born April 25, 1919 in Nebraska to the late Otto and Cecelia (Wolf) Schneekloth. On December 20, 1944 he was united in marriage to Helen Warrick in Nebraska.

He worked in Omaha and farmed on the family farm until 1957 when he and Helen moved to Seymour where they bought a Dairy Farm. He retired in 1977. Norm was a Snow Bird for 16 years traveling to Mesa, AZ. He enjoyed driving tractor, playing cards with many of their good friends and square dancing.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Helen; two daughters: Denise Lemke, Green Bay; Doreen Ossmann, Seymour; one son, Dwayne (Diane) Schneekloth, Seymour; nine grandchildren: Deanne (special friend Danny), Douglas (Stephanie), Daniel and David Schneekloth, Michael (Melissa) Lemke, Matthew Lemke and Mitchell (Dana) Lemke, Stacey (Brad) Stephani, Chad (Karla) Ossmann; four great-grandchildren, Peyton and Blade Stephani, Uriah Schneekloth, and Jessica Ossmann; two step-great-grandchildren, Randy and TJ Ewert.

Norman was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Schneekloth and one brother Clarence (Viola) Schneekloth.

Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 9 AM until services at 11 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial in parish cemetery.
