Noble Audley Wofford Jr., age 89, passed away on August 9, 2021 at Forest Glen in Seymour, WI.
Noble was born on November 6, 1931 in Georgia to the late Noble Audley Wofford Sr. and Margaret Olive (Davidson) Wofford. Noble was united in marriage to Margaret "Marge" Geiger on October 20, 1968 in San Fransico, California. She preceded him in death on November, 17, 2003.
Noble was a lifetime member of the Appleton American Legion, having served in the US Army.
He was proud to have been a life-long blood donor.
Noble spent his career working in Human Resources in many states throughout the country, retiring from Morton Thiokol at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL.
He is survived by his children: Rhonda Wofford, Appleton; Noah (Sue) Wofford; Cape Canaveral, FL; Cynthia (Scott) Sherman, Black Creek; grandsons: Noah Wofford Jr., North Carolina, and Reggie (Nicole) Wofford, Cocoa Beach, FL; Special friend, Sharon Orheim, Seymour; sister: Angela (Johnny) Southerland, Savannah, GA: great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Noble was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wofford; and brother, Kent (Ann) Wofford.
Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
