Nicholas Rettler

Nicholas James Rettler, 46, formerly of Black Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 3, 2020. He was born March 11, 1974, the son of James and Catherine (Schroeder) Rettler. Nick worked for L&S Electric for many years, and he also repaired computers.

Nick loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed playing pool and riding his Harley-Davidson. Nick found peace in the outdoors, especially while kayaking, and taking long walks on the trail in Black Creek. He was very sarcastic and quick-witted.

Survivors include his children: Alex Rettler, Darian Rettler, and Nichole Rettler; his mother, Cathy Rettler; siblings: Jesse Rettler and Jodi (Leyton) Burk; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Nick was preceded in death by his father, James Rettler; his grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles, and cousins.

Due to COVID, private funeral services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
