Nancy Mueller

Nancy S. Mueller, 74, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. She was born September 18, 1943, daughter of the late Leroy and Erdine (Steffens) Schmidt.

On October 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to Curtiss Mueller. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2017.

Nancy is a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.

She was most commonly known to family, friends, and neighbors as “Grandma Farm”. Spending time with her family was the most important thing for Nancy. She enjoyed farming, gardening, and cooking, always trying new recipes.

Nancy was always a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend. Her willingness to help anyone in a time of need is something we will always remember. Nancy was very grateful for the life she was able to live on the farm with her family.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David (Tina) Mueller, Seymour; daughter and son-in-law, Wendy (Don) Verhasselt, De Pere; grandchildren: Marc, Jacob, Kyle (special friend Sarah), Autumn (special friend Kody) Mueller, all of Seymour; sister-in-law, Shirley Mueller, Seymour; Godchildren, Eugene Mueller and Darren Mueller.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Leslie Mueller

Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Natalie Kramer-McComb officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
