Mildred Lindsten

April 15, 1927 — July 2, 2007

Mildred T. Lindsten, age 80, passed away Monday afternoon, July 2, 2007 at Brewster Village in Appleton. She was born in Waupaca on April 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Alex and Edith (Rice) Balthazor. On March 12, 1949 she was united in marriage to Alvin Lindsten in Navarino. He preceded her in death on December 17, 1996. Mildred was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, David Lindsten (special friend, Patricia La Chance), Freedom; John Lindsten, Minn.; four daughters, Sandy Ellenbecker (special friend, Bruene Hattermann), Dale; Linda (Charles) Blink, New London; Joan (Dave) Melcher, Minn.; Nancy Flint (special friend, Tom Favor) Washington state; grandchildren: Steve (Tami) Ellenbecker, Scott (Kelly) Ellenbecker and Sid (Melissa) Ellenbecker; Patti, Kristine and Kati Blink, New London; great grandchildren, Emma Sue and Kayla Jade. She is further survived by her sisters, Betty Noack, Geneva Muthig, both of Appleton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin; one son-in-law, Edward Ellenbecker; one sister, Edna School and four brothers, LaVern, Lester, Robert and Ray.

Friends may call at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 349 N. Main St., Seymour on Friday, July 6, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sara Yotter officiating.
