Michelle "Shelly" Meulemans, 45, of Seymour, Wisconsin, passed away on February 24, 2026. Shelly was born on September 5, 1980 in Green Bay to Gerald and Charlotte (Purvis) Solberg.
Shelly was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose heart was as big as her personality. She shared a beautiful life with her husband, Chris Meulemans, and was a proud and loving mother to her sons, Cameron Baenen and Jonathan Baenen. She held a special place in her heart for Cameron's girlfriend, Noelle Matuszak, and Chris's son, Phillip Meulemans.
She is further survived by her father, Gerald Solberg; her grandchild Nimue Meulemans, Mother & Father-in-law Barb (Mike) St. Thomas. Dear sister-in-law of Tammy (Ken) Minks, Jennifer Meulemans, and Sara (Robbie) McHugh. Further survived by numerous other family members. Shelly now reunites in peace with her mother, Charlotte Solberg, who preceded her in passing.
Shelly dedicated her career to caring for others as a caregiver in nursing homes. Her compassion, patience, and natural ability to comfort those in need made a lasting impact on the many lives she touched. Caring for people wasn't just her job - it was who she was.
Outside of work, Shelly's passions made her truly one of a kind. She was a devoted snake lover and breeder, pouring her heart into caring for her reptiles - especially her beloved "Hade's." Her eyes would light up whenever she talked about them. She also found joy and relaxation in creating beautiful Diamond Art pieces and could often be found watching her favorite law TV shows. Shelly had a spirited side as well - she loved fast cars and especially the thrill of turbo engines that made the unmistakable "stututu" sound. That excitement mirrored her own vibrant and fearless personality.
Shelly will be remembered for her strength, her loyalty, her humor, and the fierce love she had for her family. She leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished forever.
Memorial services will be held at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour, Friday March 6th, 2026 from 3:00pm - 5:00pm with a family prayer service at 5:00pm.
Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew her.
With love,
The Family
