Mary Lou Mayville

Mary Lou Mayville, age 76, of Shawano and formerly of Navarino passed away at home on Saturday, December 2, 2023. She was born on May 9, 1947 to Leona and Raymond Beyer.

She owned and operated Mary Lou's Bar in Navarino for 28 years. Mary Lou was an active member of Challenge The Outdoors as a volunteer where she made many friends. She also enjoyed quilting, embroidery projects, traveling to Florida, and fishing for bluegills.

Mary Lou was united in marriage to Wilfred "Bill" Mayville on May 19, 2018.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Mayville; son, Rob (special friend, Stephanie) Dey; grandchildren: Morgan, Joe (Aubry) and Abigail Dey; bonus children: Tim (fiance, Carey) Mayville, Dave (Chriss) Mayville, Bob (Leslie) Mayville, Becky (Chris) Herb, Jon (Laura) Mayville; many bonus grandchildren and bonus great-grandchildren; two sisters: Barbara (Dick) Fletcher and Carol (special friend, John) Scott; brother, Tim (Susie) Beyer; special aunt, Shirley Cornelius. Further survived by in-laws from the Dey, Fischer, and Mayville families; beloved nieces and nephews who adored her, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Dey; daughter, Jody Dey; infant son, Terry Dey; second husband, Thomas Fischer, and in-laws from the Dey, Fischer, and Mayville families.

Visitation will take place at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. David Greskowiak officiating. Interment will take place at St. Denis Cemetery in Shiocton.
