Martha Blohm

Martha J. Blohm, age 90, of Seymour passed away early Wednesday morning August 13 2008 at her home with her family by her side. She was born may 20 1918 daughter of the late Bart and Mary (Suchy) Sperl. On July 1, 1939 she was united in marriage to Reuben A. Blohm. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1996. Martha was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church where she was active in Concordia.

She enjoyed family, playing dominos, card playing with her many friends, and traveling.

Survivors include her children: Robert (Judy) Blohm, Campbellsport, Karen (Mel) Sievert, Seymour, Janet (Richard) Vanden Heuvel, DePere, Glen (Mary Jo) Blohm, Toledo, Ohio, Sue (Doug) Seidl, Seymour and Michael (Ruth) Blohm, Seymour. She is further survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 brothers: Tony (Mildred) Sperl, Appleton, and George Sperl, Menomonee Falls.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Marie Schweiner and Jane Vick.

Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour from 4 until 8 pm on Friday August 15, 2008 and Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Seymour from 9:30 AM until funeral services at 11 AM with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.
