Marjorie Zibell

Marjorie Ann Zibell, age 86, Seymour, passed away on May 5, 2024. She was born February 26, 1938, on the Zibell family farm on County G in the Town of Seymour to the late Raymond and Eleanor (Peters) Zibell. Marjorie cherished the memories of growing up and working on the farm. She earned her Master's Degree in Education from UW-Stout in the early 1970s. Marjorie was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.

Marjorie worked as a teacher at Manitowoc Junior High School, UW Extension (as a home agent), Memomonee Falls High School, St. Mary's High School in Fond du Lac, and was an instructor at Morraine Park Technical College. After working as an educator she began working at Hartland Cicero Insurance Company for 18 years; she began working in a clerical capacity and was employed an underwriter when she retired in 1996.

Marjorie belonged to 4-H in her younger years and served as an adult 4-H leader. She also belonged to Kiwanis, Homemaker's Club, and Insurance Women. Marjorie enjoyed sewing, quilting, and oil painting until her eyesight deteriorated.

Survivors include her brother, Ralph Zibell, Seymour; her sister, Marlene Schultz, Hartland; sister-in-law Barbara Zibell, Appleton; five nieces and nephews: Roxanne (David) Handel, Greenville, and their children: Janelle (Brian) Randall, Neenah, and Collin Handel, Illinois; Raynette (Ronald) Stammer, Neenah, and their daughter, Brittany Stammer, Oshkosh; Tina (Tim) Rofritz, Hartland; and their children: Autumn and Savannah Rofritz, Hartland; Russell J. Zibell, Neenah; and Kathryn Zibell (Kevin Flinn), and their children: Karsten and Kendall Flinn, Gladstone, MO; her great niece, Aubrey Randall, Neenah; and great nephew, Jaxon Randall, Neenah.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond Richard Zibell and Roger Herman Zibell; her sister-in-law, Lois Zibell; and her brother-in-law, Dennis Schultz.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 3:30 PM with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Burial will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Seymour at a later date.
