Loretta V. Nelson, age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday morning, April 12, 2008 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family.

She was born March 14, 1916 in the Town of Deer Creek, the daughter of George and Edith (Faneuf) Nitske.

On June 15, 1940 she was united in marriage to Clifford Nelson and together they shared 64 years of marriage.

Loretta lived most of her life in the Town of Maine helping her husband on the farm. She faithfully attended the First Congregational Church in Shiocton. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, baking, shopping and short trips with her family. Most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Beverly (Tom) Rosenfeldt of Greenville, and her son Russell (Marg) Nelson of Leeman. She is also survived by her four grandsons: Rick Rosenfeldt (special friend Michelle), Appleton; Ryan (April) Rosenfeldt, Greenville; Adam (Beth) Nelson, Leeman; and Luke (Tonya) Nelson, Black Creek. She is also survived by one granddaughter Carlene (Todd) Jahnke, Shiocton; great grandsons: Ryley and Mitchell Rosenfeldt; Nicholas and Conner Rosenfeldt, all of Greenville; Brandon Jahnke and one great granddaughter Emmie Jahnke, both of Shiocton. She is further survived by her sister and brother-in-law Valda (Bud) Kaddatz, Shiocton; her brother and sister-in-law Ralph (Bernice) Nitzske, Deer Creek; and her sister-in-laws Madeline Nitzske, Shawano, and Ether Heier, Kewaunee.

Preceding her in death were her husband Clifford, her parents, sisters: Eleanor and Bernice; brothers: Herbert, Irvin, Alfred, and Roger.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 to First Congregational Church in Shiocton from 9 A.M. until the time of services at 11 A.M. Reverend Michael Isbill officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com .
