Loraine (Irish) Klopotic, 70, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 12, 1956, in Green Bay, WI, to the late Victor and Ardys (Karrow) Irish. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, and friend.
One of Loraine's many joys in life was helping her daughters with their children. She would travel hundreds of miles to be there to support them. Sometimes different states in one week! Loraine loved being around family, often being the host of large family gatherings, and also to small coffee hour visits with her siblings. During the quieter times, she and her husband Craig would enjoy dinner time at their favorite restaurants.
When she wasn't busy being "Grandma", Loraine spent her time with friends for lunch visits, participated in Life Long Learning classes through UW-GB, attended line dance class, was an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour, WI, among many other interests and activities.
Loraine was blessed with many friends. She cherished her friendships which spanned decades from when she was a young girl, to friends made during her professional career working at Associated Bank, and everyone in-between.
Loraine is lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 50 years, Craig; her daughters, Lindsay Eaton and Christine (Nicholas) Wilz; her grandchildren, Declan, Maxwell, and Maya; her brothers Brent (Virginia) Irish and Kelly (Laurie) Irish; her niece Lisa (Derek) Gilsoul and nephew David (Theresa) Jarvey; her three great nieces and two great nephews; along with many dear friends and cherished extended family members.
She will be reunited in heaven with those she loved and missed including her parents, Victor and Ardys, and her sister, Vicki; their laughter and love now everlasting. We hope they are enjoying a cup of McDonald's coffee and Smurawa's donuts together right now.
On behalf of her family, we would like to thank Grancare Nursing Center and Unity Hospice for their compassion during Loraine's final weeks.
Funeral services for Loraine will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, on Saturday June 20th at 12 Noon with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Loraine will be laid to rest at the parish cemetery following the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Loraine's name are appreciated.
Though our hearts are heavy, we aim to honor Loraine's memory by living with the same courage, faith, and joy she shared with all of us. May we all think of her as we pass McDonald's, enjoy good music, bird watch, bake chocolates, and plant flowers.
