Lillian Marie Van De Yacht

Mar 22, 1929 — Jun 28, 2026

Lillian M. Van De Yacht, 97, passed to eternal life surrounded by her family on June 28, 2026.

She was born on March 22, 1929 in Hofa Park to the late William and Rose (Bluma) Borlik. On May 17, 1952 she was united in marriage to Theodore M. Van De Yacht at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Hofa Park and they enjoyed 66 years together before his passing.

Lillian resided in downtown Isaar for most of her life and still lived there until her recent move to Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. While living in Isaar she was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers, distributor, and volunteered at numerous church events. She was the heart of our family, talented cook, baker, gardener, and seamstress. An avid Packers fan there were very few games she missed watching whether it be at Lambeau Field or in the comfort of her home. A night out at local supper clubs was something she also enjoyed.

Lillian had a deep commitment to her faith and family. Highlights throughout the many years was spending time with family during the holidays and celebrating birthdays. She was blessed with four children. As the family grew, her love multiplied to include six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She will sadly be missed by her children: Mike (Janice) Van De Yacht, Mary (Roger) Smits, Jerry Van De Yacht, Janice (Ken) Garbowicz. She is further survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Traci (Colonel Nicholas) Scotch and their son Mason; Thomas (Holly) Van De Yacht and their sons Rhett, Hayes and Kershaw; William (Kayla) Van De Yacht and their son Ulysses and daughter Madeline; Abigail (Brandon) Yaeger and their daughter Stella and son Owen; Sarah (Philip) Robinson and their daughter Delia and son Oliver; and Ryan Smits. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, on June 9, 2018; her sisters, Ceil (Joe) Wierzba, Evelyn (Ollie) Kroner, Marilyn (David) Hallada; and brother Alvin (Eleanor) Borlik.

Visitation will be at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar on July 2, 2026 from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Fr. Sengole Dass and Deacon Richard Matuszak officiating. Entombment will take place at Allouez Catholic Chapel Mausoleum, Green Bay.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to the American Heart Association and Good Days Foundation.

Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Fr. Sengole and Deacon Rich for their visits and spiritual support. We would also like to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, where she called everyone "Lady Jane" and Unity Hospice for the kind and loving care given to our Mom. Special thanks to her neighbor Pat Ullmer for her care, friendship, and visits over the years and Alice VandenLangenberg for all the thoughtful cards and phone calls. To our brother Jerry for spending nights the last year+ with Mom so she could live at home where she loved it most.
