LeRoy A. Yealey, age 75, passed away Wednesday night, June 27, 2007 at a Marion, Kansas nursing home. He was born October 26, 1931 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the son of the late Frank Yealey and Connie (Mardian) Yealey. LeRoy was in the US Army from 1951 until 1966, which included service during the Korean Conflict. On June 29, 1990 he married Dorothy (Archiquette) Cornelius in Oneida. He was a member of Holy Apostles Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his mother, Connie Yealey, Aberdeen, South Dakota; two sons, Roger (Monica) Yealey, Seymour; Michael Yealey, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Steven, Brad and Ashley; a step-daughter, Donna (Clayton) Southers, Kansas; three step-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; one sister, Angie; and a step-sister and step-brother; also many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, 2937 Freedom Rd., Oneida on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 9 a.m. until the funeral services at 10:30 a.m., with Father John Cell officiating.
