Larry J. Linsmeyer, age 63, Appleton, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on August 27, 2023. He was born on December 15, 1959 to the late Joseph and Theresa (Hermus) Linsmeyer.
Larry graduated from Seymour High School in 1979. He started driving dump truck at 16, and following high school he continued driving and working in the trucking business. Larry later started LJ Linsmeyer and Sons Trucking, owned and operated LandL Trucking, and was still involved in the trucking business.
Larry was united in marriage to Amy Felzer on June 11, 2022 in Black Creek.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Linsmeyer; sons: Adam (Ashley) Linsmeyer, Danny (Sage), Nick (special friend, Miranda) Linsmeyer; step-daughters: Ashley (Jesse) Messman and Courtney (Aaron) Stapleton; nine grandchildren: Brynn, Gemma, Riley, Nolan, Finlae, Lola, Nathan, Madison, and Brantley.
Larry is further survived by his siblings: Gerald Linsmeyer, Joseph (Wendy) Linsmeyer, Leonard (Cindy) Linsmeyer, Robert (Kathy) Linsmeyer, Catherine (Bruce) Fleming, Rose (Steve) Collins, Glen (Lori) Linsmeyer, Linda (Steve) Johnson, Allen (Brenda) Linsmeyer, Darlene (Chris) Swiecichowski; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Michael (special friend, Linda) Felzer and Diane (Jeff) Harke; aunt and godmother, Rose Hendricks; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jace Linsmeyer; sister, Karen; godfather, Harold Hendricks; four nephews: Scott, Joe, Matthew, and Derek; niece, Paige; and sister-in-law, Kathy Linsmeyer.
Following Larry's wishes, a celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
