Kenneth Luniak

Kenneth "Ken" Ray Luniak, age 88, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Ken was born on June 22, 1935 in Shawano, WI along with his twin sister, Carol to the late John and Clara (Rudie) Luniak. He married the former Julie Korth on November 10, 1962, and had 56 years together until Julie's passing on July 11, 2019. They were parents of two daughters, Connie and Tammy.

Ken grew up in the Navarino, WI area where he played Fast Pitch Softball for Otto and Mims Bar. In the winter months he did Ski Jumping at the Navarino Ski Jumping and other various hills in Central Wisconsin. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and watching football.

He became a Packer season ticket holder in 1956 and was in attendance at Lambeau Field for the Ice Bowl. Ken was a loyal fan of the Wisconsin Badgers, attending many games home and away. Ken and Julie enjoyed, along with friends, trips to Arizona and Tennessee.

He retired from Little Rapids Corp. in 1997 and then drove a Medical Van for 16 years. The majority of that time for Rennes Health and Rehab, a job he liked very much.

Ken is survived by his daughter, Connie (Dave) Prothero, Navarino; grandchildren: Matt De Muth (Juana), Mike De Muth (Melissa), Melony (Jed) Doepker; great-grandchildren: Madison, Hailey, Kaleb, Candace, Bryson, Calvin, Keegan, Vayda and Hoyt; sister, Carol Aldinger; sister-in-law, Donna Burns; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Julie; daughter, Tammy Morris; his parents; step-brothers: Lee (Florence) Neuman, Gordon (Florence) Neuman; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Julius and Dora Korth; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Erv and Yvonne Henrickson; brothers-in-law: Karl Aldinger and Carl Burns; nieces: Lori Demmin, Bev Merritt, Dolores Henrickson; nephew: Jeff Reeves.

Visitation will take place at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12 noon until the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ty Stoneburner officiating.
