Keith E. Wickesberg, age 77, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, March 24, 2008 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born December 1, 1930, son of the late Glen and Jeanette (Eberhard) Wickesberg. On June 8, 1957 he was united in marriage to Joyce Stutzman at St. John's Lutheran Church in the Township of Center. He owned and operated Wickesberg Plumbing in Black Creek for 40 years. Keith was a volunteer Black Creek Fire Department member serving as Chief for 10 years, he also served on the Black Creek Village board and was named Outstanding Citizen in 1992; a member of the Black Creek American Legion and an Army Veteran. Keith was a member of United Methodist Church in Seymour. He enjoyed gardening, especially his pumpkins, bee keeping, working on old cars and tractors and visiting with his buddies in his shop

Survivors include, his wife, Joyce: daughter, Joanie (Rick) Talakowski, Black Creek; 2 grandchildren: Nicole and Dustin Talakowski; a father-in-law, Wallace Stutzman, Black Creek; brother, Ralph (Donna Fassbender) Wickesberg, Black Creek; sister-in-law, Carol Wickesberg, Appleton.

Keith was preceded in death by two brothers Leroy and Howard.

Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Thursday, March 27 from 4 PM until 8 PM and Friday, March 28 from 9:30 AM until services at 11 AM at Seymour United Methodist Church with Rebecca Henry officiating. Keith, you were always the most humorous person I met. I'll miss the rides in your red truck. Thanks for the wonderful 50 years together. You'll be in my heart forever.
