Karl R. Seiltz, age 86, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. Karl was born on December 2, 1938 to the late Clarence and Eleanor (Abraham) Seiltz.
Karl was united in marriage to Janice Siegler on August 27, 1961.
He graduated from Wrightstown High School in 1956. Then attended Iowa State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business in 1961.
He had a variety of jobs throughout his life. Karl took pride in his work and was employed at Kellers Imp., Wagners Imp., was a salesman for Aid Associate For Lutherans (Thrivent), Walter Morton Buildings, and was a Foxland Harvester Salesman. He was a hog farmer- Farrow to Finish Double Decker 800 hog facility called Seiltz Swine Farm. He also did custom round bailing, combining and planting. Karl and Jan also enjoyed 15 years of vacationing in Arizona in the winter in their retirement.
Besides working, his hobbies included a Model A Doodlebug, 1930 Model A Sedan, 1975 Delta 88 Oldsmobile Convertible, collection of antique tractors and toy tractors.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Seiltz; children: Rev. James Seiltz, his children: Jessica (Joseph) Turner, Jacob Seiltz, Amanda Seiltz, Faith Seiltz, Joy (Scottie) Grimes, Caleb (fiancé Lillian Herring) Seiltz; Julie (Duane) Hallam, her children: Matthew (Gretchen) Hallam, Adam (fiancé Diana Maturino) Hallam, Lisa (Adam) VandenLangenberg, Kayla Hallam; Beth (Joe) Hein, her children: Devin (Paige) Hein, Kaitlyn (Sean) Palubicki, and Paige Hein; eight great-grandchildren: Alexis Turner, Jack and Claire Hallam, Vince and Vanessa VandenLangenberg, Briggs Hein, Stetson and JD Palubicki; siblings: Paul Seiltz, John Seiltz, Liz (Dick) Schmidt, Glenn Seiltz; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Bev Siegler, Judy (Don) Krueger, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by in-laws: Lori Seiltz, Janet Seiltz, Lynn Seiltz, Karen Seiltz, Paul Siegler, and Clarice (Chuck) Frederick.
Funeral services for Karl will be held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, N2740 N French Road, Appleton, on Friday November 21st at 11:00 AM with Pastor Timothy Soukup and Pastor James Seiltz presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services. A memorial fund is being established in Karl's name.
