Joyce J. Landsverk, 96, of Neenah, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Park View, Oshkosh, surrounded by her family. She was born November 4, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Robley) Fischer.
She graduated Bonduel High School, worked at Four Wheel Drive in Clintonville after graduating. On April 20, 1946, she was united in marriage to Marvin "Mony" Landsverk. Joyce and Mony spent 35 years wintering in Arizona together. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2017.
Joyce was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known for always sending birthday cards out to everyone. She loved sewing many different items including: boat cushions, outfits for square dancing, a miniature bride dress for Jackie's wedding, and flower girl dress for many weddings.
Joyce was a huge Green Bay Packers fan! She loved following her two favorite baseball teams, the Braves and the Brewers. She also enjoyed traveling, and visited all 50 states, as well as a trip to Norway to her father-in-law's homestead.
Joyce was a Brownie and Cub Scout Leader, a member of the Alter Guild, enjoyed playing sheepshead with family, as well as dancing, bowling, golfing, and shuffleboard at the Senior Olympics. She loved carrying on the tradition of making Norwegian meatballs, lefse, cream pudding, krumkakes, and sandbakkels.
She is survived by her children: Jacqueline (Ronald) Gullickson, James (Christine) Landsverk, and Mary Joy (Jeff) Danke; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is further survived by one sister and one sister-in-law.
Preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters-in-law.
Funeral services for Joyce will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial Street, Neenah on Friday October 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jon Strasman officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will take place in Ascension Cemetery in Navarino. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Joyce's name.
