John Mastey
August 8, 1950 — October 28, 2016
John L. Mastey, 66, of Nichols, passed away unexpectedly due to a heart attack on Friday, October 28, 2016 at his home. He was born August 8, 1950, son of the late Florian and Agnes (Jankowski) Mastey.
John farmed on the family homestead and enjoyed his cats, pigeons, plants and flowers.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek.
John is survived by his brothers: James (Shirley), Pulaski; Daniel (Marge), Franklin; Gerald (Sophie), Shiocton; Vernon, Brillion; Stanley, Owen; Steve (Lynn), Oneida; his sisters: Marilyn (John) Fuhrman, Bigfork, Montana; Sharon Davis, LaCrosse; Patricia Murphy, Milton; Barbara Watson, Platte City, Missouri; Betty Mastey, Middleton; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Kenneth and Chester (Karla); sister-in-law, Judy Mastey; brothers-in-law: Jim Davis, Dwayne Murphy and Jim Watson.
Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Black Creek.
