Jeff A. Nettekoven passed away Tuesday, August 5th, at the age of 72 from heart failure.
He is survived by his wife Margery Nettekoven of 52 years, son Michael Nettekoven, daughter Tammy Nettekoven, brother Alan Nettekoven and his wife Kim, and sister Debbie Meulemans and her husband John. Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Caroline Nettekoven, and brother Michal.
Jeff was an engineer at heart. Whenever he had an idea to fix something, or to create something, he made it happen no matter if it was metalworking or woodworking. One of his prized accomplishments was the designing of the architectural plans of his dreamhouse, and he lived in that house with his wife for over forty years.
He liked to tease, and he was quite mischievous. However, Jeff was a person that would help anyone in need without asking for anything back in return. He had a kind heart, despite what he would tell you. He was a Trekkie through and through, and he got his son into sci-fi as well. Jeff loved his cats and Deadpool. Yet he loved his wife far more, and he took care of her for over nine years after her strokes.
Visitation for Jeff Nettekoven will be at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home in Seymour, WI from 9am to 11am Friday, August 8th, with a brief service at 11am. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
The family wants to thank his sister Debbie Meulemans, his brother Alan Nettekoven, along with Dr. David Anderla and the staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital and Emerald Ridge for their kindness and care of Jeff.
