Jean E. Swett, 63, of Seymour, passed away Saturday evening, July 1, 2017 at Bellin Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born October 19, 1953, in East Troy, daughter of the late Roy and Evadine (Jorgensen) Eichinger. On June 2, 1973, she was united in marriage to Keith Swett.
Jean graduated from Fox Valley Tech with her nursing degree. She was active in Bereaved Parents and treasured time spent with her family and friends. She was a real rock when anyone was in need. Jean enjoyed decorating during the holidays with her many figurines.
She is survived by her husband, Keith; daughter, Laura, Green Bay; daughter-in-law, Dr. Sharon Bartlett, Stoughton; two sisters: Marie Eichinger, Madison, Wendy (Stan) Pajala, Washburn and their son, Cole; brother-in-law, David Cederstrom, Madison.
Preceded in death by her son, Matthew; and her sister, Nancy.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour for a celebration of Jean's Life on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 pm and on Friday, July 7, 2017 at New Life United Methodist Church from 9:30 am until services at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Klaisner officiating. In lieu of flowers a Nursing memorial scholarship will be set up in Jean's name at Seymour Community School.
