James Jorgensen

November 7, 1941 — July 25, 2017

James G. Jorgensen, 75, of Seymour passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Brewster Village in Appleton. He was born November 7, 1941, son of the late George C. and Isabelle (Leggate) Jorgensen.
On June 27, 1970, he was united in marriage to Gloria Douglass in Dayton, OH celebrating over 44 years of marriage. She preceded him in death January 20, 2015.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Seymour. He had a strong faith and enjoyed Bible studies.
Following retirement James and Gloria moved to Eagle River for several years before residing in Seymour.
Time spent with his family and grandchildren was the most important thing to him.
James is survived by his two daughters: Andrea (Tom) McKeever, Hortonville; Lora Robinson, Seymour; seven grandchildren: Justin, Jonathan, Faith, Patrick, and Kristin Robinson, Kyle and Megan McKeever; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Douglass; Black Creek; Effie Douglass, Dayton, OH; nieces: Sharon Douglass and Cheryl Schueler-Corbeille.
He is preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Joseph and James Douglass.
Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Brian Belongia officiating. Online condolences maybe expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in James memory.
Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
