Henrietta A. Christensen, age 85, passed away, Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home with family by her side.

She was born July 14, 1922 in De Pere, daughter of the late Antone and Wilhemina (Van Laanen) Hendericks. On May 10, 1941 she was united in marriage to Robert Christensen. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1996. Henrietta was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Oneida. She was blessed with an incredible sense of humor and a beautiful smile that would light up the room. She enjoyed family gatherings, dining out, bingo, cooking and gambling.

Survivors include her children: Geraldine (Richard) Hallam, Seymour; Roger (Deirdre) Christensen, Seymour; Linda (Conrad) Mikle, Oneida; Lenore and Rosalie Christensen, Seymour; Nancy (Rodney) arkhaus, Bonduel; Bob (Sue) Christensen, Seymour; Colleen (Ronald) Urban, Bonduel; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by 2 sisters: Rita Boyea, De Pere and Eleanore (Dan) Gauthier, Texas: 2 brothers: Harold (Rose) Hendricks, Bonduel and Orville (Evelyn) Hendricks, Onieda; 1 sister-in-law, Mary Lou Hendricks, De Pere.

She was preceded in death by a grandson Michael Christensen; 1 sister, Marie Peters, and 2 brothers, Wilbert and Norbert (Reg).

Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4-8, Friday, October 5, 2007 with a prayer service at 7:30 P.M., and Saturday, October 6, 2007 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida from 10:00 A.M. until services at 11:00 A.M. with Father Gilbert Jacobs and Deacon Jeff Hoffacker officiating. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour. You may express online condolences at www.boettcherfuneralhomes.com .
