Helen A. Banker, age 90, of Black Creek passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Manor Care in Appleton.
She was born on November 21, 1917 to the late Peter and Mary (Stoeffel) Kern. Helen was united in marriage to Harry Banker. He preceded her in death on September 11, 1987.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek where she often volunteered to serve funeral luncheons.
Helen enjoyed her large vegetable garden, taking long walks, and her yearly trip to Sturgeon Bay to pick cherries.
Helen is survived by a daughter Joyce Banker of Appleton, a son Wayne Banker of Appleton, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry, sister Viola Banker, and 2 brothers: Levi Kern and John Kern, Sr.
Friends may call to St. Mary Catholic Church in Black Creek on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 9 AM until the funeral mass at 10 AM. Fr. Theodore Hendricks officiating.
