Gerald Hackl

Gerald E. Hackl, 71, of Suamico, passed away Wednesday evening, September 20, 2017 at Bellin Hospital. He was born July 18, 1946, son of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Zepnick) Hackl.

Gerald was a member at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar.

Gerald graduated from Seymour High School in 1964. He then worked as an auto mechanic in Seymour. In the following years, he was employed at numerous car dealers in Green Bay. In 1999, he opened a stump grinding business in the Crivitz area. In 2008, he retired in Green Bay.

He is survived by his siblings: Lucille VanLannen, Seymour; Norbert Hackl, Suamico; Kathleen (Richard Duke) Kahnt, Florida; many nieces and nephews.

Gerald was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy (Elmer) VanGheem and Virginia Ciesielczyk; and a niece, Laura Skinkis.

Friends may call at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Isaar on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 8:30 am until the funeral mass at 10:00 am with Fr. Brian Belongia officiating.
