Franklin "Bud" Vanden Heuvel, age 93, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital on Thursday, June 6th, 2024.
Bud was born on September 9, 1930, to the late Frank and Myra (Kuehne) Vanden Heuvel.
Bud was united in marriage to Audrey (Brandenburg) on September 7th, 1955, at St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. They were happily married for 68 years.
Bud served in the Marine Corps and was a Mail Carrier until his retirement. Bud enjoyed auctioneering at Kuehne Livestock sales for many years. He was also a livestock dealer. Bud was involved with the Outagamie County Fair and helping his children, and grandchildren with showing livestock. Bud enjoyed playing Sheepshead at family gatherings, watching Packer and Brewer games, attending his grandchildren's events and hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; children Kurt (Suzanne), Scott( Lisa), Tami (Mark) Kimball, Wade (Molly), Gina (Edward) Blank: grandchildren Kyle, Keenan, Kalli, Dane, Zack, Alexandra (Ryan) Sperber, Seth (Emily) Kimball, Luke (Rachael) Kimball, Hans, Axel, Sam (special friend Emma), Aleda (special friend Nick), Noelle (special friend Gabrielle), and great grandchildren Addison, Jackson, Lucille, Lillian, and Gwendolyn; siblings Jerome Vanden Heuvel, Robert( Carolyn) Vanden Heuvel, Nancy (Richard) Stephani, Kate (John) Avery, Joyce (Herb) Grulke, and Audrey (Tom) Zuleger, brother-in-law Eldon(the late Rosalind) Brandenburg as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-in-law, siblings Earl, Jean, William "Bill"(the late Doris) Vanden Heuvel, brothers-in-law Arlyn (the late Ernie) Brandenburg, Melbert Brandenburg, sisters-in-law Arlis Brandenburg and Rosalind Brandenburg.
Visitation will take place on Friday June 21st, 2024 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour, Wisconsin from 9:00 AM to 12 noon. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon with Fr. Bob Kabat and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Bud will be laid to rest at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Bud's name.
