Frank Hanus Jr., age 62, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in Navarino. He was born June 10, 1946 the son of the late Frank and Mary (Gams) Hanus.
Frank was an Army Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Seymour American Legion. He retired from Lucent Technologies. Frank was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino where he served on the Buildings and Grounds Committee; a member of the Navarino Rangers Baseball Team where he served on the Board of Directors; he was an auxiliary member of the Navarino-Lessor Fire Department since 1985; and an active member of the Navarino Snowmobile Club.
He is survived by five siblings: Randy (Joan) Hanus of Freedom, Mary Ellen (Bill) Peeters of Navarino, Bonnie (Clarence) Daebler of Navarino, Betty Hanus of Appleton, and Michael Hanus of Green Bay, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and a 2 brothers Daniel and Roger Hanus and infant brother.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 5 PM until 8 PM Friday, December 12, 2008 with a Prayer service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino from 8:30 AM until services at 10 AM with Father Theodore Hendericks and Sister Jane Riha officiating.
